Rockwood Family Greetings

HAPPY HOLIDAYS 2007 and HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008
We are all well and hoping you are too.

Tim is still working for Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver – is going on 16 years. He and a friend renovated our bathroom. Whew! Tile, grout, tub, toilet, sawing, sanding, buying, exchanging. Lynn was exhausted! But we’re all proud of Tim. It looks beautiful.

Andrew tried out baseball in the fall city league. Fall ball is laid back and the perfect league for Andrews first time ever. He did very well and got to try many positions. He spent a lot of time at second base. He’s in 8th grade this year, is still in band and trying Jazz Band and doing solos at concerts.

Brandon is turning twelve next month and is senior in his school this year – in Jeffco sixth grade is still in elementary school – and he’s enjoying it. He’s spent a lot of time again in two seasons of baseball and intermurals at school. And Tim has spent a lot of time trying to get him to cut his hair!!

Christopher is 19 months and TOO cute! He walks up to us, points his finger, tells us what’s what then walks away. We have no idea what he said but it’s very funny. He ADORES his brothers and I think they like him too (an understatement).

Lynn is still working part time at the Jewish school and enjoying the opportunity of taking Chris with her every day. She’s happy to be teaching biology again this year. Over the summer she got a scholarship for a fantastic weeklong class in Colorado Springs. Chris came with her and got to spend days with Aunt Cynde, and Cousins Gwen and Jessie. She got another car - another Subaru - but this one has heat AND air conditioning. Talk about spoiled!
The boys spent time over the summer visiting their friend Riley in Craig, CO, went to Lake Glendo, to Canada, and power rested in between.

We went on a wonderful road trip through Canada for Tim’s family reunion. The highlights in chronological order: Little Big Horn National Monument, Staying with Alice and Len in Macoun SK, the three day reunion and meeting a couple hundred of Tim's wonderful relatives, tunnel tours in Moosejaw, dinner at Val and Paul’s house, Calgary, AB and the Winter Olympics park, Banff, the World’s Biggest Garden Train Railway, and a beautiful lake in Montana. We pulled our teeny camper and mastered efficient living. The baby did amazingly well and no one fought as Tim drove 2000 miles in 2 weeks.

Tim and Lynn and Christopher took a little jaunt to Scottsdale, AZ to visit a friend’s opening of his winery.

We spent a lot of time outdoors (at ballparks), enjoyed our family, and tried to eat dinner together every night.

With love from Tim, Lynn, Andrew, Brandon, and Christopher Rockwood.
