Greetings from Denver, Colorado

January 2010

New Year Greetings to all of our friends and family. To you we send our very best wishes and prayers that you will be content, healthy, employed and do well in school.

To update you, we are all content, healthy, employed, and doing well in school.

Brandon (8th grade) ran his first “Bolder Boulder” 10k race. His time was 1 hour 13 minutes. He’s looking forward to running track next year at Pomona High School.

Andrew (10th grade) is learning to drive. He’s now playing multiple instruments (guitar, bass, drums, sax, keyboards) and holding jam sessions in his bedroom with friends.

Christopher turned 3 in May. This school year he moved to a larger daycare where he’s around a half dozen kids his age. He’s thriving there. He loves to jam with his dad to the Doobie Brothers (air guitar, drums, vocals.) Piano lessons here we come! Also swim lessons….. theater….. gymnastics…..Augh!

All boys continue to work hard at school and get stellar reviews from their teachers. They bring us much entertainment and happiness.
Our wet spring and summer presented us with a very leaky basement which dominated our time and put a “damper” on many activities. But we were able to camp with both Tim’s and Lynn’s families, as well as some soggy/snowy camping ourselves.

We decided a big trip was overdue so we packed up the Christmas presents and flew off to Mission Beach (San Diego.) The ocean was 3 doors away, the bay was a block away. We saw seals, sea lions and lots of weird trees and plants. Our treat to ourselves was whale watching on a 138 foot, 2 masted sailboat.

We send our love to you and want you to know that we think of you often and wish you a great 2010.

Peace.
