We had a lot of snow here, and the first 'White Christmas' in a long time - it was beautiful to see but horrible to drive in! We are not prepared like you prairie folks. We had a nice Christmas, spending Christmas eve together and having our Christmas Dinner on Boxing Day at Dale and Heather's place. We are all doing well and keeping busy. Edna was moved to a different home not far from where she was, and is settling in fine(she is in the same facility as Eva Stregger). The girls (Gertie and Joyce) are planning on going down south towards the end of January. Dave and Whitney were home visiting for Christmas, and are leaving to go back to Saskatchewan tomorrow. Dave is finishing his degree at Briercrest College in Caronport, and Whitney is teaching preschool in Moose Jaw while doing schooling for Early Childhood Education. Dale's younger girls (Victoria and Elise) are growing fast, Tori is in grade 2 and Elise will start kindergarten in the fall. Gatlin is finishing his last year of high school and has a job teaching skating at the Rec centre. He is a busy young man with a real talent on the piano and guitar . Jalen is working at 'Power to Change' in Langley in their HR department, and is planning for her wedding in May of this year to Kyle Dyck (no relative to Whitney's husband!). Kellen is working and has begun recording music in his own studio setup, and Linden (Iggy) is doing well playing WHL hockey for the Kamloops Blazers. Linden will also graduate this year. Barry and Sue are still in Quesnel, and Sue is working on her education degree. Justin is now in Grade 7, and Jesse is in Grade 3.

I hope you are all doing well, may God continue to bless you in this new year!
-Elda
