The graduating class of 1965 presented a plaque to honour all the local men and women who served in World War II. Clayton Kuchinka donated and built the cairn that the plaque was mounted on. Sunday, November 16, 2008, the cairn was dedicated. Six local men who served our country were present for the dedication, program and lunch.
They are: Len Lundahl, Paul Schindel, Bill Eagles, Oscar Schindel, Carl Snyder and John Johnson.
