Hi from the U.S. part of the Snider Clan

Hi-lites from the Cheyenne, Loveland and Evans clan of the reunion were being with the 158 out of the 182 family members and sharing memories of our Christian family heritage. Mother and Dad lived a life where God was loved and reveered "an invited guest at every meal. " "Kum Herr Jesu, sein unser gast" ...I can still hear dad praying that at every meal. Other Hi-llites were: Being entertained by Alice at the ballgame,(more exciting than the game) For the Grandkids were late evening games of "Run my Good Sheep Run" and Capture the Flag" (We had to play "Capture the Flag" at Savannah's 9th birthday party(by her request all the kids, dads and grand dads went to the nearby park to do so)on July 24. The kids also enjoyed riding the horses at Ben and Wendy's until 10:30 at night.
A big thank you to everyone who made this such a great event. Especially to Heather,Gayle and the committee for all their hard work in organizing the events. A job well done" Thou good and faithful servants." Thanks to Alice and Len for all the Macoun meals--foood and more food . The perogies were a big hit. Thanks to Doug and Marci, for hosting the Monday night barbeque, playing Botchi ball making us envious of the new deck and hot tub (just wish wehad had time to try it out)At least we didn't collapse the deck. Special thanks to Ben and Becka & theboys for entertaining the grandkids by saddeling up the horses several times , letting them drive the ATV , and the big boys(Dan and Jeff) ride the motorcycles. Carl and Marion made the short visit to Macoun extra special by allowing the whole clan to use their home plus the fresh garden vegetables.
Tuesday we left refreshed for our long journey home7:30 A.M. and with a few sshort stops for fuel , food, stretching and other we arrived home around midnight. Dan and Jeff did most of the driving with Melody and Robin assisting, while Paul dozed and missed all the exciting? scenery in North and South Dakota and Wyoming. Tried to enclose pictures but failed at the task. If it weren't for Annie none of this would have made it. It was a great time and the whole family was truly blessed with memories and good thoughts. Until we meet again--God Bless. Leone assisted by Paul and Computer Tech Annie

Hello Tapey clan, I was just about to email you to see how your posting was coming. Way to go, Annie! Keep those grandparents up to date and the rest of us posted on what's happening. Hopefully, you will be able to get the pictures to work too. Thanks for making the LOONNG trip up here. The reunion wouldn't have been the same without you. HB
