Talk about wacky weather. It's snowing today here in Vancouver. My daffodils are bravely standing in the snow. Good thing I mowed the lawn last week.We had our family picture taken for the church directory (we haven't had one done since Riley was born) so I thought I'd post it. Colin (age 9) is in grade 4 and once again is challenging his teacher to earn every penny of her salary. He enjoys drawing and lego. Riley (age 5) is seated on my lap and enjoyed doing ballet and cheerleading this year, she also goes to preschool one day a week. Kailee (age 7) is in grade 1 and is excited about her class dancing in a dance festival, she also enjoyed cheerleading and has started softball (first game was on Saturday). Apparently skipping down the bases is allowed when you're 7. Dean and I are just getting old. Have to go, Riley wants to bake gingerbread boys and girls because the snow reminds her of Christmas.

Thanks for the 'catch-up' about your family. They really have cheerleading for Grade one's? I'm impressed! I am really looking forward to seeing your kids for the first time and visiting with you again. Thanks for being brave enough to tackle this blog again! HB
